ELENA SANOR, 16, STUDENT, STYLIST AT T! MAGAZINE, ENGLAND
ELENA’S STYLE: I would describe my style as being something of a mixture. I cant really say I follow trends or a particular way of dressing ,I just wear what I like and what I think looks good at that moment even though sometimes later on I think otherwise! . I am trying to refine my style more and find out what suits me and what doesn’t, I am still experimenting. I would say that I wear shorts and tights pretty often so that could count as something of a signature trademark.
INSPIRATION: People , places , other fashion bloggers . without sounding too cliche I would say that a lot of my inspiration comes from other bloggers ,magazines and websites. I am very open to inspiration and I am always willing to try out different things so sometimes my inspiration may come from the most random sources.
FAVORITE ARTICLE OF CLOTHING: I must say denim shorts . I have a few pairs and I wear them throughout the year even when its snowing I will wear them with tights ! I just find them so comfortable and I can move around freely and still feel stylish, I have started to wear more jeans recently ,as I’m sure people are getting sick of me wearing shorts all the time including my mum who always gets annoyed at me wearing the same thing!
PERSONAL STYLE EVOLUTION: I think that it has evolved a huge amount as in these past few years as I have also evolved a lot and I am hardly the same person I was ! I like to think I have become more fashion conscious and aware of what looks good . I used to draw a lot of my inspiration from catwalk shows when I was younger therefore I ended up wearing rather un- streetwise outfits! I remember buying a down to the knee brown embroidered coat which I thought was “hippie chic” at the time now I realize it was just a huge mistake. Starting a blog is something I highly recommend for anyone who wants to improve their style it has changed mine a lot.
HALLOWEEN: I dressed up as “The lady of Shalott” inspired by a beautiful Pre- Raphaelite painting, all the details are on my blog!
FALL FAVORITES: Layers. You can do so much with them and mix different styles, colours and textures, also who doesn’t enjoy wearing a huge knitted jumper.
