NYFW: REBECCA MINKOFF S/S 2013
I can happily say that one of my favorite and most inspirational young designers around has yet again hit the nail on the head with what people want. Continuing with her downtown romantic sensibility, Minkoff’s print-happy (but happily not floral-dominated) pieces seemed heavily influenced by both the 70’s and 90’s with flaring silhouettes and bandana-like ensembles (Totally obsessing over the red and white look, which I unfortunately couldn’t snag a great photo of!) Additionally, what I love and always have loved about Rebecca’s aesthetic is that it is young, fresh, on trend wearable and workable. Clearly I am in love and total support of this designer, and why shouldn’t I be? Minkoff proves to be a jack jill-of-all trades and with each passing season I couldn’t be more proud to be a Minkette.
