CARLA’S STYLE: I don’t really have a particular style because I like trying new things and creating different looks. But if there’s something I keep in particular to, it’s laid-back, effortless, and casual-cool, because I always try to balance style with comfort.

INSPIRATION: Bloggers are my main inspiration. Whenever I see them wear different clothes, styles, trends, I’m always excited to recreate those looks in a different way which I can call my own. I don’t think I would be blogging right now if it weren’t for the blogs that I look at everyday, and I always think to myself that, if they can do it, so can I.

WHICH NON-FASHION PERSONALITY DO YOU FEEL HAS THE BEST PERSONAL STYLE? Does Lauren Conrad count? Because I definitely love her California cool style. But if not, I’d say Vanessa Hudgens. As an actress, I’m not a fan. But I think her style is amazing. She has this cool girl vibe that I myself am trying to achieve.

THE STEPS OF THE DRESSED: [When I get dressed] Well, it depends - Sometimes, I’d pick the shoes first. Sometimes, pants, top, etc. Most of the time, I base my outfit on my mood, if I want to be flirty, grunge, casual, sexy, etc. Then I’d pick which pieces would suit that. But on a daily basis, I’d say shoes first because I want to feel comfortable all day, and shoes are a major issue when it comes to comfort.

GO-TO COLOR PALETTE: I find myself more attracted to bold colors and black. I like pastels too of course, but I think its much more fun to play with bright colors (and they look good in pictures too!)

FAVORITE SUMMER TREND: My favorite summer trend is definitely ombre and neons! I’m crazy about Ombre denim shorts, ombre hair, ombre tees, and neon accessories! I love them all!

SUMMER LOVIN: I plan to travel to some parts of southeast Asia this summer. And like I said, I’m crazy about [wearing] ombre and prints, so this summer, I’m all about high waist combre shorts, sheer tops, and neon accessories. And on my playlist are Demi Lovato, We are the in crowd, A Rocket to the moon, and Jeff Bernat.
