HOPE’S STYLE: My style definitely ranges! Some days I feel like dressing super edgy and other days I just want to wear a girly dress and heels. I also like to take bits of fashions from different decades and translate it through my personal style. I like incorporating different trends from the 50’s, 60’s, 80’s, and 90’s in my outfit but, also giving it a modern twist.
INSPIRATION: The things I take inspiration from are unlimited! From movies like “Pretty in Pink” or “Cry Baby” to an assortment of flowers in a vase, I grab inspiration from almost anything.
IF YOU HAD TO WEAR ONE ITEM EVERYDAY WHAT WOULD IT BE? That’s a tough one! Well, I would probably wear my white button up shirt because it is so versatile! I love to tie a black ribbon bow around the collar, wear a statement jacket with it, or unbutton it halfway and then tie it by my waist for a different look.
WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST FASHION MEMORY? My earliest fashion memory would be when I was 7 years old and didn’t know what to wear for picture day at school. I remember being frustrated because I wanted my outfit to be super cute and didn’t want to wear just a plain tee shirt and shorts. I picked out this blue blouse and floral embroidery and a navy floral print skort (haha oh the days of skorts!) Overall I was satisfied with the outfit I had chosen!
FASHION FAMILY: Rachel Zoe!! I seriously like worship her. I really adore her style and my dream is to be doing what she is doing now. Being in her family would be pretty cool since she is always going to events and working on different projects! I’d have a blast and would be fulfilling my ultimate goal if I was with her. Plus I’d have no problem with babysitting Skyler haha.
SPRING AWAKENING: During the spring I enjoy wearing pastels paired with black, lace, crochet, and light denim. It is that transitional time of the year where you can still get away with pairing fall/winter items with summer pieces!
SUMMER LOVIN: This summer I will be working at a cupcake shop right across the street from where I live! I am super stoked to start when they open up in a few weeks! Also I am seeing The Wanted; my favorite boy band and besides listening to them, my favorite artists are Kanye West, Frank Ocean, Drake, fun., Foster the People, Justin Nozuka, and Lil Jackie. This summer I will definitely be wearing different assortments of hats and sunnies since in Texas it is super hot! Also I’ll be wearing cropped tanks, funky prints, and skirts and shorts with cool details.
