VICTORIA JIN.

VICTORIA’S STYLE: Laid back, simple, nothing girly, put together
INSPIRATION: People walking on the streets with confidence; creative people doing what they love for a living; magazines and magazine editors.
WHAT IS ONE THING IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY YOU’D LIKE TO SEE CHANGE? Realistically, my contacts since I’m a blind bat without them. Fashion-wise, my camel boot mid-heels from Ash – they go with everything.
WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST FASHION MEMORY? Reading issues of my mom’s InStyle around 2000, 2010, and recognizing Kate Moss in the various issues. She was the first style icon I knew.
FASHION FAMILY: Vera Wang. She also has an art history background (what I’m doing), worked at Vogue (what I dream of doing), and now designs the most beautiful wedding gowns in the world (that I hope to wear someday). Or, if I could travel back in time, I think Diana Vreeland would have been an enigmatic mother to grow up with.
SPRING AWAKENING: High-waisted shorts and mini skirts.
SUMMER LOVIN: Doing – working on printing out my magazine, KNEON (pronounced ‘neon’) Listening – a lot of electro. I’m going to Tomorrowland Festival in Belgiam in July, so I have a lot of new producers and DJ’S to get to know before then. Wouldn’t want to be raving to unfamiliar tunes. Wearing – tank tops, my leo ballerinas, sandals, bikinis, and a whole load of suncream.
