KATHLEEN’S STYLE: Ironic. I love to mix edgy with sweet, vintage/thrifted pieces with high-end items. I feel its more interesting to bring on a challenge when creating outfits.
INSPIRATION: Definitely all my readers and everyday girls or guys I find on Chictopia or blogs everywhere. Not necessarily celebrities, but people I find I can relate more to on a personal level through fashion.
IF YOU COULDN’T BE YOU, WHO WOULD YOU BE: I would be Audrey Hepburn. She has so much class, elegance, and gorgeous style. And wouldn’t mind singing in Funny Face next to Fred Astaire.
WHAT ASPECT OF FASHION APPEALS TO YOU THE MOST? What my blog is all about — inspiration. How fashion evolves through simply being inspired by someone or something, it’s everywhere in magazines, blogs, and websites. The simple spark of becoming inspired in fashion and creating unusual and unique yet stunning pieces like those of the most talented designer Alexander McQueen, is what interests and appeals to me the most.
STAPLE ITEMS FOR FALL: Sweaters! In all shapes and textures, particularly feel ribbed knits are great to keep warm. Boots definitely are a must for fall — style and comfort are big for me when it comes to fall fashion.
DID YOU SCORE ON ANY BLACK FRIDAY DEALS? I did! I went to Gap and they had an amazing 60% off sale and bought a pretty black turtleneck, I’ll be giving to my mom for Christmas. Other than that, I did more cyber monday shopping!
FALLING IN LOVE: I love wearing jeans, specifically boyfriend or loose-fitted jeans as they can go with anything and are extremely comfortable when walking around a lot.
